Ashley Adams is an author of fantasy romance and a firm believer in fairytales.
Whenever she's not busy falling into a world that she only wish she could live in, she is a mama, wife, fitness addict and dancer at heart.
She loves the moon and the sun, the color purple, is a true Aquarius, and loves being creative.

If you could be friends with one character in your debut novel who would it be? Why?
Definitely my main character Jade. I wrote her based on my personality traits and things I
love, so we would definitely get along! Also, her story is just so inspiring and I would
love to be there alongside her as she discovers who she is, while maybe also finding out
who I am in the process!
Do you have any inspirational quotes you live by?
Live. Love. Laugh.
It’s fine. I’m fine. Everything is fine.

What’s one piece of advice you wish you’d known when you first started writing?
The first draft is always shitty, and not to stress out over the readers who don’t relate to
your book. Not every book fits all and that’s okay. Don’t let the small things like one bad review ruin your dream.
What is a goal you’re still waiting to start?
To open a bookstore in my hometown and have every single one of my author friends
books on the shelves!
What is one kind of character (baker, ghost, strong female character) that every book you
enjoy has in it?
I love reading books with some sort of mental health rep. Every book I’ve fallen in love
with has some sort of relatable character, which helps me fall even farther into the world the author has created.
What do you do to unwind from stress?
I like to workout, make a nice cup of iced coffee, or take a long shower or bath. I also
read when I need to shut the world out.
What is something that you’ve learned and grown from over the last year?
I’ve learned that not everything is going to go as expected. Plans change, life happens,
and you have to go with the flow. At this point in my author career, I’ve realized that not
everything goes smoothly and to only worry about the things you can control.
