If you could be friends with one character in your debut novel, who would it be and why?

Izzy, hands down.

Where are you hiding?

Who doesn’t want a wild best friend with zero filter, a dirty sense of humor, and a talent for turning any moment into something fun… but who also knows exactly how to hype you up, make you laugh when you wanna cry, and cut through your BS to give you the truth you didn’t want to hear but absolutely needed?

What’s your favorite activity? Why?

Having filthy, mind-blowing s—

I mean… reading or writing spicy, forbidden, morally grey romance. Nothing makes me happier than disappearing into a world of tension, bad decisions, characters who’ve been through a lot of sh*t, and then healing them with a HEA at the end.

What’s one thing you can never live without?

Daily naps. Non-negotiable. (And ice cream. Please don’t make me choose.)

What’s your biggest fear?

Fear… and letting it make my decisions for me. Fear is an illusion.

It’s not my reality, and I refuse to let it control my life.

Do you have an inspirational quote you live by?

Too many.

“You’ll never be ready, because feeling ready isn’t a feeling—it’s a decision. Do the thing, and poof, now you’re ready.”

Also: “Stop thinking of all the scary unknowns and start thinking of all the amazing possibilities. Live boldly and watch magic happen.”

What song can you listen to on repeat and never grow tired of?

“Ready or Not” by the Fugees. Over 25 years later and it’s still my go-to karaoke rap song that always makes me sing my heart out (badly).

If your core characters could say one thing about you, what would it be?

“Hurry up and make a decision already.”
