Meet Author Grace P. Rose

Grace grew up an avid reader. When the other kids wanted to go to the toy store, she wanted to go to the library.

Now, Grace is the debut author of a YA Dystopian Romantasy.

When she isn’t writing, she is spending time with her husband and their three children.

She also loves to teach and practice yoga.

Meet Grace:

If you could be friends with one character in your debut novel, who would it be? Why? 

That’s a hard one.  I’d have to say Scarlett because she’s such a good friend.  But Thomas is a close second. 

What is one song that defines your M/FMC? 

These Dreams by Heart

If you could live in any fictional town, city, or world, what would it be?  

Velaris hands down.   

Maybe Deverelli. 

I’d say Fraser’s ridge…but it’s a little too dangerous there.

What’s the biggest plot twist you never saw coming?

I almost always know the ending.  But the show “Behind Her Eyes” on Netflix totally got me!

What is your loftiest goal you’d like to reach as a writer? 

It would be a dream come true to see my book on the shelf at Barnes & Noble.  To do a signing and talk about it with people.  And of course, so lofty, but to have people absolutely love it and make it into a movie

What would you tell your younger self not to care about? 

I would tell my younger self not to worry so much about what other people think of you. Even at my age, it’s hard to put into practice, but the most important person who needs to like you… Is you.

What is your favorite activity to do? Why do you like to do it? 

Yoga.  It just helps me center myself, shut out the noise in my head, and feel good.
