Meet Author J.A. Bryden

J.A. Bryden is an Indie author and podcaster currently residing in the Hawkesbury region of Australia.

He grew up like most kids of the '80s and '90s, with dial-up internet and the street lights as a curfew.

After avoiding books for most of his life, he now finds himself writing them.

Meet Author J.A. Bryden:

What is your favourite food?

Steak with a side of mashed potatoes.

Was there anything else you wanted to be, besides a writer, when you were a kid?

I wanted to be everything: a Comedian, a Pro skateboarder, an actor, and a musician. I pursued music for a while until switching to writing.

What’s your favourite show to binge?

Galavant. I watch it at least once a year. It’s one of those hidden gems that still makes me laugh every time.

What do you do to unwind from stress?

I live in a town surrounded by a national park, so going for a walk in nature always helps alleviate stress.

If your core main characters could say one thing about you, what do you think they would say?

In my current WIP, I’m pretty sure they’d say, “What are you doing to me, man?!”

What is your loftiest goal you’d like to reach as a writer?

I would love to see at least one of my books turned into a movie or series.
