Since founding MK Editing Services in 2018, Martha Reineke has empowered countless indie authors to achieve their publishing dreams. With over 100 novels written and a wealth of experience as the former Director of Operations at a leading ghostwriting firm, Martha brings unparalleled expertise and a deep understanding of the publishing industry. Her dedication to nurturing writers and her insider knowledge make her an invaluable asset in the journey from manuscript to market.

 

Martha's accomplishments are as diverse as they are impressive. She has self-published 12 times under both her name and a pen name, authored 105 novels, and written over 5 million words. Her work has earned her the title of best-selling author and garnered her clients on four continents. Martha's excellence in editing was recognized when she received an award for Lady Spy by Tony Cabell from The Wishing Shelf Book Awards.

Additionally, she has successfully guided two clients to achieve traditional publishing.

Kara M. Zone crafts tales of magic, mayhem, and mischief. She is the author of the forthcoming paranormal fantasy Cinders Burn at Midnight (Early 2025), book one of the Trinity series. When she is not writing her own books, Kara works as a ghostwriter, writing coach, and editor. She occasionally writes paranormal cozy mysteries under the name Emory Keller.

 

Kara has written over 80 novels in paranormal, thriller, mystery, and cozy genres in ghostwriting and has been in the self-publishing world for over five years.

 

She has an intrinsic understanding of genre tropes and focuses on paranormal and supernatural realms and all the goolies, goblins, and mayhem that come with them. Her books have been Amazon bestsellers and a majority have 4.4-star rating or higher.

 

Kara's skills have led her to become a short story contest judge for online magazines including NYC Midnight. It has opened a new avenue to help writers hone their craft.

Now seeking clients who appreciate communication and organization with a dash of magic thrown into the mix.
