Notable works include:

Enter Tragedy: Grief and Other Horrors is a collection of haunting short stories examining the profound effects of loss and the terror of confronting death.

Super Beast '96 offers readers a visceral thriller in which a celebratory weekend spirals into a nostalgia-fueled fight for survival against an unknown menace.

A Symphony of Violence a relentless psychological thriller. An unflinching exploration of pain, identity, and the cost of vengeance.

Meet T.D. Lawler:

What are some helpful tips you would give a fellow writer who’s having a hard time

plotting, developing, etc.?

I would say just keep writing, even if it’s something different. Keep the creativity going. I

also have learned to keep everything. Even if it’s just a paragraph or a couple of

sentences, you never know what you might come back to or could use later on.

Was there anything else you wanted to be, besides a writer, when you were a kid?

100%, professional wrestler. I loved watching wrestling as a kid and then

rediscovered it as a teenager. I loved it so much that my friends and I even put on our own

backyard wrestling shows. It was a lot of fun and I had a better time doing that than any

sport. They might even be on YouTube somewhere.

What’s your favorite genre?

Horror for sure. I grew up watching horror movies (Friday the 13th, Evil Dead, etc), but I

also enjoy dark/grimdark fantasy. I am getting more into lighter fantasy, though. It’s nice

to take a break from so many bleak things and read something brighter and more

uplifting.

There are so many different subgenres in horror that you can pay for. Slasher, campy,

balls to the walls madness.

What would you tell your younger self not to care about?

Putting time into people and things that aren’t worth it. Life is way too short not to try and

Do something you love, or put time and energy into people and things that don’t help

lift you up or support you and your dreams.

If you had a soundtrack to your life, right now, what would the first five songs be?

Right now, while working on Enter Tragedy, I would say a lot of songs are about loss and

depression. My wife and I went through several years of loss and grief. It’s something

we still struggle with, but writing has helped in a big way.
